James is an architectural technologist with 30 years’ post-qualification experience, and joined the University in 2008. James is also a CIAT Pop assessor, and his areas of expertise lie in construction technology, sustainable development, computer-aided design, and commercial technology and service.

James is a Senior Lecturer within the School of Engineering and the Built Environment, currently teaching on the HNC Construction course.
