Steve Harris

Steve Harris has previously worked for Lafarge as both a design draughtsman and quality controller in their manufacturing plant, and then went on to work as an aircraft engineering manager within the Royal Air Force, which involved managing operations within a range of diverse locations and environments. 

Steve Harris has also been project manager within the Ministry of Defence where the multi-disciplinary team were charged by the front-line customer to bring in, locate, and ensure a fleet of 21 aircraft could be supported in-service.

He developed and project managed a middle manager development programme involving five public sector organisations and four educational institutions across Birmingham which was cited by the National Audit Office in the House of Commons as an example of good employer engagement.

Steve Harris has a wide ranging experience of writing, developing and delivering higher education programmes and modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

His research interests currently include business sustainable enterprise and leadership identity.
