What do courses at Birmingham City Business School have to offer?
“Our courses are globally recognised, with many of them professionally accredited. Our ACCA course has a platinum status, for example, which is the top award for any institution offering an ACCA course.
All of our courses have a practical focus and emphasis. Our undergraduate degrees have a built-in placement year, while many of our postgraduate degrees offer professional placements, allowing you to gain real industry experience. Companies that students have completed their placements at include KPMG, Lloyds Bank, Jaguar Land Rover and Cadbury’s.”
What facilities does the Business School have?
“We have our own Business Advice Centre, where we provide opportunities for our students to gain real experience working with clients, including the chance to work on a live project with a local business.
Our Marketing Link Agency is an in-house agency that is run by our current Marketing students. The agency enables our students to engage with actual briefs, which are given to them from companies based in and around Birmingham.
Our City Trading Room, meanwhile, allows our Finance students to access Thomas Reuters software so they can develop their skills using the latest tools employed by industry.
