Dr. Igho Ekiugbo is the Course Leader for the Online MBA, and a lecturer of Management – Logistics and Supply Chain Management within the College of Graduate School of Management.

Before joining BCU Dr. Igho Ekiugbo had earlier lectured at Salford Business School, University of Salford, Manchester, and the University Campus of Football Business, Manchester Campus, teaching across multiple business and management courses until November 2020 when he joined BCU.

Dr Igho has a PhD in Business and Management which focused on sustainable supply chain management of the Oil and Gas sector, an MSc degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, both from the University of Salford Manchester, and a BSc (Hons) in Business Management (Business Information Systems) from the University of Bolton, Greater Manchester. Dr Igho is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS), a Member of the British Academy Early Career Researcher Network, an Affiliate Member of the British Academy of Management (BAM), and an Affiliate Member of Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT).

Dr. Igho Ekiugbo is passionate about sustainability, and his research mainly focuses on sustainability issues, challenges and performance of business operations including procurement, logistics and supply chain functions. He is also very keen on International Business Management and Strategy, Buyer – Supplier Relationship Development and Management. He has in the past explored the links between sustainable procurement and sustainable development goals, as well as institutional theory and the implementation of sustainability practices within the procurement function of Oil and Gas sector firms.
