Christopher's current role relates to improving student engagement and progression in the Business School. He also manages the disciplinary processes for Academic and General Misconduct of students in the School. He is also responsible for Postgraduate dissertations and teach on International Management modules.

Christopher has previously been Director of Postgraduate Programmes and Head of the Department of Business and Marketing at Birmingham City University. Before 2006 he was a Principal Lecturer at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, Acting Head of the International Business Centre and co-ordinator for overseas franchised programmes.

Christopher is an experienced lecturer in international management, international marketing and international business, as well as strategy and marketing, with external examiner experience in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK and Europe. Research interests in the international brewing industry, international branding, and market orientation. He can speak fluent Spanish and French and has working knowledge of several other European languages, and significant experience working with academic partners in Europe and Africa.
