Adila is an experienced lecturer with both academic and practical entrepreneurial experience.

Adila has an MBA, MA in English Literature, BA in Psychology & English Literature, PG Certificateby Research (Research Methods), PG Diploma and Certificate in Management, HNC in Business Administration, and ILM Certificate (Level 5) in Leadership & Management. 

After completing her PGCE from the University of Wales Trinity St David, Adila started her teaching career as a lecturer first at the University of Wales, Trinity St David in 2012 (2 years) then at Bath Spa University (4 years). Adila is currently working as a lecturer at Birmingham City University (since September 2018).

Adila is also completing her PhD in the areas of business and entrepreneurship, which she started in January 2016. In addition, Adila is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy which is awarded in recognition of best teaching practices.

As a passionate entrepreneur, Adila successfully set up and ran an international education consultancy and training company for more than 12 years across seven Countries (with offices in UK, China, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal). Before this Adila worked as an International Marketing Manager at a Pembrokeshire College, Wales for 6 years.
