Jonathan's business experience is diverse: auditor with a top-10 firm; corporate services on consulting and corporate finance projects including the management buyout of the service arm of Electrolux; business-turn-around; high-growth grants for companies to improve financial performance.

Jonathan is the chair of the Trailblazer Group for the Digital Accounting & Finance Degree Apprenticeship (DAFDA). Sage, Xero, IBM, 11 universities, and c.30 other large, small, public, private and third sector organisations are involved, all working to bridge the digital skills gap and create the needed learning resources ahead of HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) entirely by 2026.
