Current activity:

Christine  has recently helped provide support for with businesses for a range of funded projects ranging from research into rural diversification post-foot and mouth to local government procurement. Her interest in bioenergy led to her working on the EnAlgae and BioenNWE her current research projects. Christine is also on the editorial panel of the International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications.

Before starting at the University in 2008, Christine’s career was mostly spent in research, working for a range of universities in lean and agile operations in manufacturing. This involved her engaging with many different companies, including Ford, Johnsons, BAT, Balfour Beatty, Nissan and Boots.

Christine teaches mainly on postgraduate programmes in logistics and supply chain management. She has also taught other PG courses at Cardiff, Bath, Ulster and on the Engineering Diploma at EIGSI, La Rochelle.
