Chris's current role relates to managing the processes for investigation of Academic and General Misconduct of students in the Faculty. He also investigates Appeals and Complaints for BLSS and other faculties. He reports to the Associate Dean for Student Learning Experience and Quality, working in conjunction with the Student Governance Officer for the Faculty.

Chris has previously been Director of Postgraduate Programmes and Head of the Department of Business and Marketing in the Business School at BCU. Before 2006 he was a Principal Lecturer at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, Acting Head of the International Business Centre and Co-ordinator for overseas franchised programmes there.

Chris is an experienced lecturer in international management, international marketing and international business, as well as strategy and marketing, with external examiner experience in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK and Europe. Research interests include the international brewing industry, international branding, market orientation and cultural issues in international management. He speaks fluent Spanish and French and has working knowledge of several other European languages, and significant experience working with academic partners in Europe and Africa.
