Project title: Marquetry Coasters
Can you tell us a little more about your project?
I decided to make marquetry coasters because I think the marquetry technique is quite absent in modern design and with new technologies it has widened the possibilities.
How important is being able to exhibit externally?
It is incredibly important because I can showcase my work in a real world environment.
What has your highlight of the course been so far?
Working with industry partners and getting their professional opinion on my work.
Could you tell us a little more about your design interests?
I am very interested in CAD CAM as I love working with new software an find out the possibilities of what I can make.
What advice would you give to someone considering studying Product and Furniture Design at BCU?
It is a great course with excellent lecturers and very good facilities to let you be creative.
