Max Reger was the last of the great German organ masters, and his music brings the tradition of Buxtehude and Bach into the world of Mahler and Strauss.

In other words, it’s simply magnificent, and 100 years after Reger’s death Thomas Trotter pays homage with a stirring lunchtime programme.
