If you’ve secured your first job and are entering the world of work for the first time, or are looking at starting a new role within the next few months, this session will ensure that you are equipped with the skills and confidence that are required to get ahead in the workplace. You will explore how you can cope with the pressures and demands of your first year of work, as well as learning the real life techniques that will help you to communicate effectively with colleagues and bosses.
During this session you will:
- Learn how to manage yourself and your time effectively within your first job.
- Understand how you can communicate with colleagues and your boss, working successfully as a part of a team.
- Understand the behaviours and professional etiquette that will ensure that you get noticed and get ahead in your career.
- Practical support and top tips on behaviours and competencies that employers expect to see in a new recruit.
