Birmingham City University is proud to present an exclusive evening with Sir Lenny Henry, in celebration of his tenure as the institution’s Chancellor. Sir Lenny will be discussing his career as a writer, comedian, actor and activist and his role at the University so far.
He will be joined by June Sarpong, broadcaster, author and charity ambassador who will explore the 60-year-olds amusing anecdotes, personal journey and what the future holds for this national treasure.
The event will consist of an in-depth interview with Sir Lenny, followed by an audience Q&A.
Doors for this event will open at 18:15 for an 18:30 start. After the event guests are invited to join us for drinks and an array of canapés.
This evening forms part of Birmingham City University’s public lecture series City Talks, which welcomes a programme of speakers into the University to share their views and insights on a range of topics.
