Would you like to Get Skills that business contacts and potential employers are looking for in new connections? Would you like to be inspired by and meet 2015’s The Apprentice Semi-Finalist and Entrepreneur Gary Poulton? Yes? Then you should attend the Introduction to Get Skills from BCU Advantage.

Get Skills will help you obtain the business and enterprise skills you need to make sure you are ready for the world of work. It will ensure that when looking for placement or employment opportunities, or if setting up your own business, you've got the best possible support to help you achieve the results you desire.

Introduction to Get Skills 6 – 9 pm

The Introduction to Get skills event will take place at Millennium Point, starting with registration and a canapé & drinks reception from 6pm. The evening will continue with talks from BCU Advantage, Graduate+ and Gary Poulton, entrepreneur and semi-finalist in the BBC's The Apprentice 2015. Talks will be followed by a further opportunity to network and connect with each other and Gary. 

6.00 - 6.45pm: Registration

7.00 - 7.10pm: Get skills introduction - Mark Smith
7.10 - 7.20pm: Graduate+ - Student Services Team
7.20 - 8.00pm: Talk & Q&A - Gary Poulton
8.00 - 8.05pm: Round up - Mark Smith
8.05 - 9.00pm: Drinks, canapés & networking
9.00pm:           Have a safe journey home

Get Skills in our Networking workshop 5 – 6pm

BCU Advantage will be hosting a Networking workshop at Millennium Point, 5 - 6 pm, directly before the Introduction to Get Skills event. During the workshop you will Get Skills by learning how to approach, engage and connect with new business contacts.
