Alumni Magazine Survey 2015: Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
This free prize draw is being organised by Birmingham City University, and organisation based in England. The address is University House, City Centre Campus, 15 Bartholomew Row, Birmingham, B5 5JU.
The prize draw is only open to graduates and former staff of Birmingham City University or one of its predecessor institutions who have received the alumni magazine by post or email and completed the Alumni Magazine Survey 2015.
The prize draw is not open to employees of Birmingham City University, its subsidiaries and affiliates and suppliers or their immediate families.
Birmingham City University reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner in their absolute discretion for any reason and without notice.
The closing date for entries is 3 January 2016. Birmingham City University reserves the right to extend the entry period.
Entry is by participation in the Alumni Magazine Survey 2015. No purchase or payment is required.
Limitation of entries
Only one entry per eligible graduate or former member of staff will be accepted. Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified.
One prize of £100 worth of “Amazon” gift vouchers.

No alternative prize or cash substitute is available.
No transfer or assignment of prizes will be permitted except by Birmingham City University.
Birmingham City University reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
Winners will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries which will be witnessed by an observer independent of the alumni team conducting the draw.
The draw will be conducted within five working days from the closing date of the survey.
Birmingham City University reserve the right to postpone the draw until a later date should the survey period be extended. All decisions are final and binding.
Winners will be notified within 7 days of the date of the draw. Notification will be sent to the email address supplied by the participant. Participants will then be asked for their address to send the voucher by post.
Prizes will be sent by registered post to the postal address received from the prize winner and the prize received by the winner within 3 weeks after the draw has been held.
Use of your personal information
Birmingham City University will use your email address, or any other contact details you provide for the draw, for the purpose of contacting you should you win the prize draw, and to contact you about services you have indicated an interest in during the course of the survey. Personal data used for the purpose of the prize draw will not be given to any third party.
Birmingham City University will use your contact details for the purpose of organising and/or managing the competition, for announcing the winner of the competition and for general university marketing purposes. This may include social media, press, website and other printed materials.
Birmingham City University is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, mis-delivered, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries, messages or post; unavailable network connections; failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission; on line failures; hardware software or other technical malfunctions or disturbances; or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the prize draw in any manner.
Birmingham City University is not responsible for any inaccuracy in the contact details supplied by the participant that may result in the inability of Birmingham City University to contact that participant. Birmingham City University is also not responsible for any damage to the entrant's computer occasioned by participation in the survey, the prize draw or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the survey or prize draw.
These rules will be governed by English law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
