The Kaleidoscope Duo was formed in September 2015 by flautist Katie Sazanova and cellist Felicity Smith.

The innovative duo have taken matters into their own hands, by arranging existing music to suit their instruments after becoming frustrated by the lack of repertoire available for the unlikely combination. Often performing their arrangements alongside original compositions, they have created a diverse programme of repertoire which spans over 200 years. The name choice was inspired by the spectrum of colours, sounds and notes available to the instruments when used together in such a wide range of classical styles.

Katie and Felicity are both recent graduates of Birmingham Conservatoire, and are currently freelancing in the Birmingham area before continuing their studies in London in September 2016.
