An illustrated talk given by Andy Lamb, Manager of the Bate Collection at the University of Oxford, one of the world's most important collections of historical musical instruments. Andy will be introducing some of the historically significant instruments in the Collection, some of which will be on display during the Festival. He will discuss some of the work the Bate Collection is carrying out in the preservation of historical instruments, and the project to create 3D-printed copies to allow a wider audience to experience and study the instruments.
