Three men starving on a life raft employ a hilariously logical application of democratic and bureaucratic procedures to determine which one of them is to become dinner for the other two.

The music and libretto based on Sławomir Mrożek’s absurdist play, Out at Sea is written by, composer
Blanka Barbara Stachelek.

Out at Sea gathers some of Birmingham’s most creative artists to highlight burning issues in our society, in a modern opera context.
