Transition Stage Company presents Enter Stage Write, a Christmas-themed glittering awards night celebrating new writing from a nationwide screenwriting competition.

Our judges:

Lee Mason - Commissioning Editor for Drama at Channel 4
Darcia Martin - Director for Call the Midwife at BBC
Lisa Walters - Producer and Script Developer for Emerging Stories
William Gallagher - Deputy Chair of the Writers' Guild.

Showcasing Birmingham and West Midlands acting talent, the top five finalists will see their work brought to life in front of a panel of industry heavy-weights. Accompanied by comedy improv artists, Box of Frogs, and the first BAME acting troupe, Jumprov, the evening opens with Namiwa Jazz’s soulful tunes in a collaboration with a Royal Birmingham Conservatoire instrumentalist, and ends with a surprise finale.

Expect a night of exhilaration and suspense as you decide who wins the £1,000 prize and is crowned Enter Stage Write Champion 2018.
