This, the Final of the Birmingham Philharmonic Concerto Competition and one of the Conservatoire’s most prestigious prizes, is the culmination of a number of heats in which over 50 of the Conservatoire’s students have taken part. Our finalists today are the future of tomorrow’s concert platforms and they will dazzle and entertain you in what is not only a competition, but an exhilarating concert with the added spice of choosing your favourite performance! But will your choice match that of our illustrious adjudicator, Stephen Maddock?
