Art of Moog marks the 50th anniversary of Wendy Carlos’s seminal album Switched-on Bach. In 1968 she had introduced an entirely new concept to the world: Bach performed on a Moog synthesizer. The unexpected complexity of the sound, and the inherent coolness of the instrument, brought an entirely new audience to the music of Bach. In this special preview performance ahead of the group’s London debut, Art of Moog plays Bach, completely live, on multiple synthesizers.
