MA Education (Learning and Teaching in HE)

The MA Education (Learning and Teaching in HE) is a new collaborative programme with the School of Education and Social Work in the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences (subject to validation). It is designed to support personal and professional development of those who wish to enhance the Student Learning Experience through enrichment and innovation of their own practice and also to provide a mechanism for staff to focus on local priorities. To join the programme, you must:

  • have completed the PGCert Learning and Teaching in HE at BCU (or similar recent programme elsewhere)
  • have regular contact with students
  • be responsible for student assessment
  • be responsible for curriculum design and/or delivery

A note to existing learners

If you are already enrolled on our previous MEd offer, you will be able to transfer your existing credits, and start this new award with advanced standing. If you currently have a deferral for an old MEd module, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure we are able to support you appropriately.
