Join BCU at the Great Birmingham Run
Birmingham 10K and Half Marathon 2024
Calling all BCU students and staff! BCU Active is here for you! Whether you are walker, jogger, or runner, the Birmingham 10K and Half Marathon are fantastic memorable events for you to join and be apart of. With crowds of spectators, live music, and the local radio station cheering you on, there is no better event to join in Birmingham than the Great Birmingham Run. The event is truly iconic so you do not want to miss out on Sunday 5th May 2024.
The Reward
BCU Active have partnered with Great Run Company to offer students and staff a reduced entry into both the 10k and Half Marathon on Sunday 5th May 2024. Our negotiated University entry prices are: £25 for the 10k (RRP £31) and £33 for the Half Marathon (RRP £41).
In addition to a reduced entry, BCU Active also provide a free University branded t-shirt or vest to wear on the day, 1-1 sport nutrition pre-event, and a designated runners hub, consisting of sport nutrition and sport therapy support on the day. All this is in addition to the official event medal, walking/jogging/running training plans and much more which Great Run provide all entrants!
The Route
The route for the 2024 event will take you around iconic landmarks within Birmingham which include the Commonwealth Games legacy.
