Jagjeet coordinates core modules in developmental psychology, and intellectual disabilities and developmental disorders on the undergraduate psychology degree programmes.

Jagjeet's researches across the lifespan, but specifically in developmental disorders and intellectual disabilities in children. During her PhD, Jagjeet assessed autistic behaviours, levels of intelligence, sensory processing disorders, adaptive behaviours and self-injurious behaviours in children with varying degrees of visual loss, intellectual disability and hormonal loss. She has recently completed a funded randomised trial about the effectiveness of conductive education and stroke rehabilitation. 

In the past, Jagjeet has been an elected member for the Developmental Psychology section of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and she was also awarded the status of Chartered Scientist (CSci) by the British Psychological Society (BPS) in 2011-2014. She is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
