Research Commercialisation
Our research is typically relevant, practical and capable of being applied in a number of real world situations. Many of our research staff are also professional practitioners and are interested in solving pressing problems. The areas of interest and expertise of our researchers are described in the Centres of Excellence pages.
- We are particularly well known for our work in knowledge exchange with business; for example we are one of the largest providers of knowledge transfer partnerships in the country.
- We also collaborate closely with many public and private organisations in the Midlands and beyond.
- Additionally, we undertake contract research and consultancy for, and in partnership with, a number of organisations.
- Much of the specialist equipment we operate is also available for hire.
