Overview

If you are interested in performing Musical Theatre, but have not yet had much experience, this course is for you. Our intensive 10-day programme culminates in a final performance in our Patricia Yardley Studio. Applicants must be aged 18 or over at the time the course commences.

Course will run Monday - Friday each week from 26 July - 3 August 2012.

Course Outline

Course Structure

You will learn the skills of acting through singing and explore characterisation through music, staging and performance, and vocal hygiene. In addition to acting classes and ensemble singing, you will receive individual coaching in the use of your voice and repertoire learning. The bulk of the course is devoted to the rehearsal and final presentation of works from a selection of modern masters, from Rodgers and Hammerstein to the present day.
