Aston Performing Arts Academy
The Aston Performing Arts Academy exists to provide young people in Aston and surrounding areas from the age of 5 and above with the opportunity to engage in a range of creative activities. Young people are given the opportunity to learn, practise, rehearse and perform with their peers and professional tutors. The APAA has full use of Holte School and Leisure Centre in Aston on Saturdays and offers expert tuition in orchestral and keyboard instruments, voice, music, IT and composition, classical, street and African dance and drama.

Stage 2
'The remarkable Stage 2 Youth Theatre' - The Birmingham Post
'Birmingham at its best - inspired.' - Head of English, King Edward VI School Aston
Stage 2 is Birmingham's biggest and most exciting youth theatre, running every Sunday at Birmingham school of Acting. Set up over 14 years ago it has 200 members (aged 9-21) and offers a vast programme of productions, workshops, exchange trips and outings etc. The company offers tuition for exams run by LAMDA and RADA. Each term there is one major production in a city centre venue as well as a range of workshops with informal performances in the studio at Birmingham School of Acting.
