Illustrator Introduction
Course Overview
This two day course will introduce delegates to the essential tools and techniques of the latest version of Illustrator and provide a solid foundation for producing vector illustrations for print. The course will cover all the main features of Illustrator. Delegates will be able to navigate their way through the software with confidence and competently use the range of drawing tools to build up Illustrations with objects and type.

- Fill, stroke, layers and appearance – the heart of illustrator.
- Shapes, selections and transformations - building, selecting and modifying.
- Drawing and the pen – learning the essential tool.
- Blends and masks.
- Working with type – an introduction to type in Illustrator.
- Filters and effects – modifying and styling your vectors.
- Brushes and symbols – painting in Illustrator.
- An introduction to live trace and live paint.

Pre-Requisites
Basic IT and Windows for PC users or OSX skills for Apple Mac users.
