Illustrator Advanced
Course Overview
This training course in Birmingham City centre at the NTI Birmingham will provide delegates familiar with Adobe Illustrator with advanced knowledge of the package and its tools. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore the depth Illustrator CS 5 has to offer and learn a range of techniques that will improve workflow.
This course will deepen and extend delegates knowledge of the tools and techniques available in the latest version of Adobe Illustrator. It will provide practical experience in advanced pen and path work, live trace and live paint as well as looking at live colour and preparation for print.

- Advanced path work – creation beyond the basics.
- Creating brushes and symbols.
- Live colour – the essential colour tool.
- Live Trace and Live Paint – free-form vectors.
- Essential colour management – understanding and managing colour.
- Advanced masking – clipping and opacity masks.
- Gradient mesh – free flowing colour.
- Advanced type – Illustrators advanced type engine.
- Preparing for print and working with other programs.

Pre-Requisites
Basic IT and Windows for PC users or OSX skills for Apple Mac users.
