Future Creative: Enterprise
Course Overview
Want to be more than just an apprentice? Grasp the basics of business with Future Creative: Enterprise and get a taste of what it’s like to run a small company.
Under the supervision of key personnel from Birmingham City University and our partners NatWest, your team will be given a business-based challenge to tackle, before your performance is dissected by our best boardroom business brains!
How it Works
Pupils start with a one-day session on useful business tools – based on NESTA’s Creative Toolkit – with Creative Business Consultant Percy Emmett.
You’ll then be put into a team of 8, and given an Apprentice-style challenge to tackle in and around Birmingham city centre. The teams will be advised by professionals from NatWest throughout the task, and supervised by experienced staff from Birmingham City University.
All profits made by the teams during the challenge will be donated to charity.
On the final day, pupils will get feedback on their efforts from our own ‘Nick & Margaret’, with the winning team – decided on business strategy, teamwork and profit – receiving a prize.
