Course Overview

Kick-start your path to becoming a respected radio journalist with our fantastic, BBC endorsed, 5-day workshop.

Future Creative: BBC Broadcast gives 13-16 year olds hands-on experience in creating and producing news and feature items for radio.

You’ll identify stories for a target audience; get experience with newswriting and production, as well as interviewing and presentation techniques. On top of this, you’ll be taught all the editing and technical skills needed to create professional, newsworthy programmes and features.

By the end of the course, you’ll have worked in teams to produce a radio show to a professional standard. The programme will then be made available for free public download.
