Dreamweaver for Media Teachers
Course Overview
This course will give you the fundamentals to be able to teach students the basics of web design using the industry-standard software, Adobe Dreamweaver.
Professional media software, such as Dreamweaver CS 5, can demand a deep level of understanding, and this course has been shaped to allow Media Teachers to utilise this often complex and powerful application in the classroom.
This course forms an introduction to using Adobe Dreamweaver and Fireworks. You will learn about website planning and file management, understanding the Dreamweaver interface, as well as how to use Cascading Style Sheets and optimise graphics for the web. In addition, you will practice defining and creating Cascading Style Sheets and using page templates to increase your workflow.
