Course Overview

This training course in Birmingham City centre at the NTI Birmingham is based on the FCP 101: An Introduction to Final Cut Pro training course. However, this course does not cover all lessons and exercises in the book. Students may complete the exercises that are not covered in class on their own. Students interested in a Final Cut Pro certification may prefer to attend either an FCP 101, FCP 102, FCP 200 or FCP 250 course.

  • Introducing Final Cut Studio
  • Understanding the NLE workflow
  • Getting to know the Interface and Initial System Setup
  • Introduction to Keyboard Shortcuts
  • Working with the Viewer, Canvas and Timeline
  • Organising Projects

What you will learn:

  • Basic Editing
  • Working in the timeline
  • Trimming techniques
  • Screening and outputting

Assessment

This course does not carry a certification.
