Insight Out
Insight Out is a UK-wide training programme helping nurture young graduates establish their own creative business or portfolio career.
Originally created by NESTA, we the scheme is run in the Midlands, as part of Birmingham City University.
The scheme has been run regionally by Birmingham City University since 2005, with 2010’s scheme offering a £3,000 bursary, office space for 6 months and one-to-one mentoring, in addition to the NESTA’s highly regarded training programme (Read what The Times had to say about our programme).

Insight Out: Interiors & Lifestyles 2011
Interiors & Lifestyle Futures Venture is a new start-up programme in collaboration with Insight Out.
Applications for 2011 Insight Out are now open- we're looking for the best talent from across the West Midlands to seed their start-up aspirations.
Plus:
- Successful applicants will be awarded £1000 to set up their company
- Office space for 6 months at the Birmingham Institute of Art & Design Enterprise Hub
- Up to 18 hours of one-to-one support from coaches and mentors
- Access Interiors & Lifestyle Futures extensive regional manufacturing contacts and business services network
- Invitation to other Interiors & Lifestyle Futures networking workshops
Eligibility:
Open to adults of all ages. Applicants must not be already trading the business they want to start. Only Interiors & Lifestyle based products/services supported. Must be available to attend 5 day workshop 3rd-7th October 2011 essential.
