We are running an open day for Gamer Camp: Biz on Saturday 16th May as part of the Birmingham Made Me Expo. As part of the Expo there will be an exhibition of work produced by Gamer Camp students and games for you to play that have been made by Gamer Camp students and professional developers.
The Open day will be run in conjunction with another course: Future Media, here’s the schedule
Times:
- 1230-1300 Registration and refreshments
- 1300-1320 Presentations on Gamer Camp: Biz (Sara Middleton)
- 1320-1400 Guest speakers. Guy Wilday, The Games Business - how its changing and what it means for you. Mark Brill, Gamification - making the world more fun by playing games.
- 1400-1530 Practical Excerise. a taster of the courses. You will be given a games business, design and marketing scenario to respond to with support from Mark Brill, Guy Wilday, Oliver Williams and Sara Middleton.
- 1530-1600 Feedback and questions
- 1600-1700 Time to discuss your career with a member of Gamer Camp &/or Future Media course team
