Why We Work With Schools
Helping schools make the most from new technology
Our Apple Education Mentor, Neil Emery, has worked closely with schools for many years and consistently encounters the same overriding problem:
“There is a considerable lack of understanding around the capability of what the Apple platform can achieve straight out of the box. We’ve found this same problem in consumers, businesses, corporate bodies, and IT, but foremost in education.
“Recently I have been running a training session called ‘Apple in an Hour’ and although it’s quite a simple, content-driven session, I’m constantly surprised by the number of attendees who admit to me afterwards that they simply didn’t know what was possible.
“A lot of schools are purchasing Apple Macs because they’re the new kids on the block – and a very attractive and exciting one at that. But if schools don’t look at the long-term, employing good, honest advice, training and support, then these schools will never fully benefit from their investment and the technologies will never truly impact on the students.”
Your options
We offer a flexible range of options for schools in such situations. We can advise, provide an overview of what’s possible with Adobe and Apple software, or deliver bespoke training to staff in your workplace.
