  • Each Build Your Own MA Module at Birmingham City University is worth 20 academic credits. To be awarded with an MA in Professional Media Practice, you will need to accumulate 180 credits in total. When and where you to earn these credits is up to you!

As part of the ‘Build your own MA’ initiative, Skillset Sector Skills Council (Skillset) would like to include your name, address, contact details and information on any credits you receive in a central database which will be used only for administrative and management purposes relating to that initiative. The University / training provider would like to share this information with Skillset and, through them, other Universities / training providers participating in the Skillset ‘Build your own MA’ initiative. We, the body to whom this application is made, together with others participating in the Skillset ‘Build your own MA’ initiative, would contact Skillset to check previous course and other information. As well as verification of credit, this will enable participating Universities / training providers to access relevant information to assist you in developing your portfolio appropriately.
