As an academic, Jim has worked across undergraduate and postgraduate nurse education, focusing on teaching clinical nursing skills and principles of recovery, specialising on using recovery-oriented approaches for people who hear voices. Jim co-ordinates a module on our childhood, adolescence and young adulthood mental health pathway. He is currently the project lead for nursing degree apprenticeships.
