Session One

Welcome to the School of Media – Are you ready to become industry-ready?

Your university experience starts today. Become part of our community and get a head start with your studies. We’ll tell you who you should be following, watching and listening to and which extra-curricular platforms you should be familiarising yourselves with. Learn more about our team of lecturers – their industry experience and how they continue to shape the media you see today – and how they expect you to shape it in the future.

Session Two

Mission Possible – Secret challenge workshops – are you ready?

We don’t want to spoil the surprise – but all we’ll say is make sure you bring your A game! We’ll be setting a secret group challenge for you to complete alongside your fellow applicant team-mates, so you’ll get to know a few people before you join us in September. You’ll also have some help from a few of our current students – so you can get some inside knowledge from them during the workshops too! We’ll all come back together at the end of the session to declare the winners.

Session Three

Are you ready to experience our industry-standard facilities? Let’s find out!

Prepare to be amazed as we show you our fantastic industry-standard facilities. We’ll show you where you’ll be studying and what you’ll be using to create your future. It’s also a fabulous opportunity to chat to our current students – whether that be about the course, the lecturers or Birmingham itself….they’re currently here so who better to ask?

Make the most of your day

Before you go, you can also take a tour of our accommodation and talk to any of our student services who will all be based on the ground floor to make sure you get the best out of your day. Don’t go home without asking lots of questions!
