Indian and Bangladeshi Students

This section provides additional guidance for international students from Bangladesh and India about the law courses they may be eligible to take.

Bangladesh

If you are studying at, or have graduated from, a Bangladesh university you are probably eligible to join one of our law courses. The flowcharts provide details about the study opportunities.

  • We also accept transfers from applicants who are taking the London International (External) LLB or the Northumbria LLB. We grant full exemptions.
  • Exemptions may also be granted to students who have completed a minimum of two years of an LLB average 50% from a Bangladesh public university or average 60% from a Bangladesh private university rated good by UGC.

*You may also be eligible to take the one-year full-time Graduate Diploma in Law.

India

Our LLB is recognised by the Bar Council of India.
