Ewan is the LLB Course Director in the School of Law, responsible for the suite of LLB courses that run in the School of Law. He joined the university in 2001 after completing his PhD in Copyright Law and the Internet. He is also the Deputy Head of the Law School.
Ewan teaches EU Law and Intellectual Property Law at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and has also taught Contract Law. He is co-author of the book ‘Contract Law’, in the Routledge Spotlights Series, with Tracey Cooper.
Ewan’s research interests in Intellectual Property Law concern its relationship with technology, and his interests in EU Law concern the concept of EU Citizenship and the impact of Brexit. He has blogged for the Centre for Brexit Studies at the university.
