Tianqi Liu

This work mainly expresses sensitivity of creatures. The source of inspiration and information is collected from cats, the relative sensitive animal. The cat element of this work includes the external form and internal morphology of biomorphic. Internal form information is from the reflected situations when cats get sensitive to things in the outside world. Internal morphology of biomorphic is cat muscle tissue anatomical information.

I like the combination of natural colours. So my work’s colour coming from cat fur and cats' living environments. Metal part techniques range from metal engraving to hand raising. I like that the material is free to change shape and transparency. I used the resin to mold the main shape of the metal sheet and express the colour.

I aim to enable people to experience the primitive nature of creatures.
