Students strike gold at the Jewellery Oscars

UNIVERSITY NEWS LAST UPDATED : 08 APRIL 2015

Our School of Jewellery students and graduates received no fewer than 14 shiny awards for their unique designs at the most recent Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Award Ceremony.

Alumnus and silversmith Clive Taylor was left 'delighted' and 'overwhelmed' after winning a national award for his work from the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council. Clive's award-winning piece (pictured) is a striking and elegant executive LED desk lamp made from sterling silver which is operated by non-contact proximity sensors or using an app on a mobile phone or tablet.
