How to apply

How to accept your offer

If you are accepting an unconditional offer you should send the required payment. See method of payment section for further details.

Before you can apply for your visa you will need an unconditional offer letter from the University. This offer will only be issued once we have made you a provisional offer and received the full payment.

Please note that places on our summer school courses are limited so we advise that you reserve your place as soon as possible.

For all students, regardless of your visa status, the required tuition fee should be submitted to the International Office by 31 May 2024.

Fee Refund Policy

Tuition fee is refunded in full under the following circumstances:

1
Where a student visa application is rejected

Where a student visa application is rejected in writing by the Embassy / High Commission. Should a visa application be rejected, the University requires you to attach the following documents to the refund request:

  • A copy of the Visa Rejection Notification from the High Commission
  • A request in writing with original signature.

This does not apply where the UK Government has cancelled a visa as a result of a breach of visa conditions or rejected a renewal of a visa or if the refusal is due to falsified documents.

2
Where there are exceptional circumstances beyond your control

Exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or bereavement of an immediate member of family, a refund application for exceptional circumstances pertaining to an illness or bereavement must be provided to the University. It must be supported by certified documents such as a Doctor’s certificate and / or other, which has been requested.

In the above circumstances, we will refund your payment minus an administrative charge of £50.
