We have a well-established reputation for training excellent Radiography professionals.

We are the only centre in the region for Radiography education and have received recognition by the Quality Assurance Agency.

Experienced practitioners

Students are taught by experienced practitioners and learning is further enhanced by our strong links to local Radiotherapy and Diagnostic Radiography departments, allowing students to take advantage of relevant placement opportunities.

The courses aim to develop a number of skills including:

• Use of advanced health technology
• Professional practice
• Psychosocial issues surrounding patient care

Our courses

Our department offers innovative teaching settings including a cutting edge Radiography suite, which includes the first virtual environment for Radiotherapy training in the UK.

We offer undergraduate courses in Diagnostic Radiography and Therapeutic Radiography.
