Paramedic practice

Paramedics are senior ambulance service health care professionals who attend an accident or a medical emergency. paramedic science department page  

Paramedics work on their own or with an Emergency Care Assistant or Ambulance Technician, they assess the patient's condition and then give essential treatment.

Equipment used by Paramedics

They use high-tech equipment, such as defibrillators, spinal and traction splints and intravenous drips, and as well as administering oxygen and drugs.

BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science 

The Paramedic Science degree is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to practice as a Paramedic.

On completing the course, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Students will learn to become effective members of inter-professional teams, and will be able to respond to the changing needs and priorities of the services they support.
