Care of Mother and New Born Following C-section

Welcome to this Midwifery simulation. The focus of this resource is the care of the mother and baby following birth by emergency caesarean section. Please listen to the opening video and download a copy of the workbook before entering the maternity ward. You will be introduced to Nicky, Jonathan and baby Thomas by the delivery suite midwife handing over to you. You are required to complete an assessment of mum, a head to toe assessment of baby and to explore the resucitare and office spaces.
