Virtuar Redesign

The Faculty has developed an e-learning resource called VIRTUAR to support the training of students from a range of courses in the area of Posture, Movement and Handling. VIRTUAR combines more traditional e-learning design with cutting edge 3D visualisation powered by the Unity 3D games engine. The resource supports students in learning and applying the principles that underpin safe movement and handling and helps staff responsible for training in this area to focus their time on hands-on skills development. The redesign will provide support for mobile, greater accessibility options, enhanced e-learning design and enhanced and expanded 3D visualisation.
