Virtual Case Creator Phase Three

Phase three will add a suite of new features and enhanced capabilities to the 3.0 platform. These include the following:

• Support in using online simulations during invigilated summative assessment and OSCES;
• Support for simulations that unfold along a timeline;
• Additional performance awards that aim to develop efficiencies as well as competencies;
• Further opportunities for students to promote and record critical thinking as they engage with online simulations;
• More naturalistic handling of decision making and decision prioritising;
• Scope for teachers to contribute to simulation feedback;
• Enhanced analytics;
• Additional performance awards that recognize discrete skills [hyperlink to discrete skills section above] achievements and that promote spiral curricula;
• Support for free text input, charting and form filling;
• Capacity to profile student cohorts and configure bespoke leader board configurations;
• VLE integration;
• Support for inter-professional learning using online simulations across and between students from different courses.
