Life Skills App

Life Skills are skills that help people deal with challenges they face in daily life. Skills such as positive body language, being assertive, making healthy life choices, money management, dealing with stress etc… Some of these skills are culture specific and many are traditionally assumed to be taught and developed by parents or during primary and secondary education. However, we often see students struggling to master such skills particularly if those students have come from deprived backgrounds, or from different cultures.

The Life Skills App will act as a portal through which students can find information relevant to them as and when they need it. The app will signpost to existing University resources and services and support available elsewhere on the web and will provide bespoke resources.
